Abstract

High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) has emerged as a powerful analytical tool in the field of pharmaceutical
analysis, facilitating the separation, identification, and quantification of complex mixtures with exceptional precision and sensitivity.
This highlights recent advances in HPLC techniques, focusing on their applications in pharmaceutical analysis. The advancements
in column technology, discussing novel stationary phases, monolithic columns, and core-shell particles. These improvements have
resulted in enhanced separation efficiency, reduced analysis times, and improved peak resolution. Additionally, developments in
column hardware and temperature control have contributed to increased chromatographic performance and stability. The second
segment presents innovative detection strategies, such as mass spectrometry (MS) coupled with HPLC, offering superior selectivity
and sensitivity for trace-level analysis of pharmaceutical compounds. Furthermore, the incorporation of tandem MS techniques has
enabled the identification of metabolites and impurities, essential for drug development and quality control.
